The Russian Military and Security Research Group, or Russia Group in short, operates as a unit of the National Defence University Department of Warfare, and was established in 2017 to facilitate research and education involving Russian military thought and strategic thinking, as well as changes in Russian military power and art of war. Our multidisciplinary research group studies contemporary military and security developments as well as the theoretical and historical undercurrents of Russian thinking, and  forms a nexus for collaboration between national and international networks.
